In most regions of Ukraine, excluding Crimea and the western oblasts, an elevated risk of fire has been declared from April 29 to May 1.

This warning comes from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

During this period, a high likelihood of forest and field fires is expected across Ukraine. The most dangerous conditions are anticipated in central, southern, eastern, and parts of northern regions.

The emergency (fifth) level of fire danger entails a complete ban on open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Emergency services urge citizens to adhere to fire safety rules, refrain from burning dry grass, and avoid leaving any unextinguished fires.
