On Tuesday morning, two serious traffic accidents near Warsaw Airport led to 16 individuals, including a child, being hospitalized.

According to "European Truth", this was reported by RMF FM.

The incidents took place on the S2 highway close to Chopin Airport in Warsaw.

Initially, a bus carrying passengers, including those from Ukraine and Belarus, crashed into the barriers and overturned while exiting the S2 onto the S7. This occurred at a sharp turn.

Shortly after, during the rescue operations, another dangerous accident happened when a truck collided with a fire service vehicle.

A total of 16 individuals were admitted to hospitals, among them one child. The condition of two of the injured is reported to be serious, but their nationalities have not been disclosed.

Over 100 firefighters and more than 70 medical personnel were on-site. Medical tents were set up on the S2 highway at the level of the village of Davidy, between the Pulawska and Airport interchanges; part of the roadway was blocked.

Traffic difficulties were expected to last until at least 8:00 AM, so drivers were advised to avoid the S2 highway near the airport.

Earlier in February, a bus traveling from Kyiv to Chișinău was involved in an accident, injuring 16 people. A similar incident had also occurred in January.
