As part of a special operation conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service, a foreign vessel was detained in the Black Sea for illegally transporting Ukrainian agricultural products to third countries, which had been stolen from temporarily occupied territories.

This was reported by the SBU.

According to sources, the name of the vessel is Anka.

The investigation revealed that the detained vessel was part of a "shadow" fleet operated by Russia for the illegal sale of stolen Ukrainian grain to foreign markets. At the end of 2024, the cargo ship exported 5,000 tons of wheat from the port of Sevastopol, which had been taken from the occupied southern regions of Ukraine.

The State Border Guard Service noted that to disguise the origin of the cargo, the vessel was sailing under the flag of one of the Asian countries.

During the search, navigation equipment, ship documentation, and other material evidence confirming the involvement of the vessel and its crew in the illegal transport scheme were seized.

The ship has been arrested, and the crew has been detained. A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
