The Ukrainian airline SkyUp has relaunched regular flights for the first time since the large-scale invasion began.
This was announced by the press service of SkyUp, according to LIGA.net.
On April 18, the first flights departed from Chișinău (Moldova) to Paris and Lisbon.
SkyUp's flight program includes regular connections from Chișinău to 13 European cities: Paris, Lisbon, Nice, Barcelona, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Larnaca, Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Berlin, Prague, and Stockholm.
Chișinău was chosen as the base because of its proximity to Ukraine, making it a logistically convenient and reliable hub for international routes.
Reminder:
In December 2024, SkyUp Airlines announced plans for direct regular flights from Chișinău for Ukrainians to popular European destinations.
