This was reported on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Community in Lebanon.
According to the organization's charter, board elections are held every three years. Following the voting, Irina Vysota was elected as the head of the community.
The updated board includes Yaryna Chyzhyshyn (deputy head), Kateryna Kuchmarenko (secretary), Natalia Kurdi (treasurer), as well as Svitlana Bitar, Natalia Zainun, Yanina Anturi, Olena Bu Jaudi, and Alona Mazraani.
In addition to the official part, a screening of the short film «Between Two Fires» by Ukrainian-Lebanese director Mari Anna Zharamani took place at the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Lebanon. The film is a prizewinner of the Byblos Film Festival 2025.
The screening was dedicated to Ukraine's Unity Day. The embassy thanked the director and the cast for creating a relevant film, «that resonated deeply with everyone who is currently outside Ukraine».
The embassy also expressed gratitude to the «Ukrainian Community in Lebanon» for their unity and willingness to work together for Ukraine's victory.
It is worth noting that on November 1, the Ukrainian Cultural House was opened in the historic Lebanese city of Byblos (Jbeil).
