The Zbroya platform has launched a new career consulting feature for veterans to aid their job search in the defense industry. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is providing veterans with the opportunity to receive professional career consulting, allowing those with combat experience to apply their skills and embark on a new career path in the defense sector," the announcement stated.
According to the ministry, interested individuals will receive guidance from Lobby X specialists. They will assist with:
- identifying personal strengths, areas of interest, and potential roles in the defense industry;
- conducting an individual assessment of experience and skills;
- preparing resumes and tailoring combat experience to employer requests;
- finding relevant job openings among weapon manufacturers, tech teams, R&D, and companies working in defense technologies;
- determining next steps in professional development: training, retraining, or internships;
- preparing for interviews;
- receiving support during the job search process.
The Zbroya online platform was launched in August 2025. It collects information on all key government services and opportunities for weapon and military equipment manufacturers in Ukraine, as well as current job vacancies, especially for veterans looking to engage in the defense industry.
