On December 1st, in observance of World AIDS Day, an informational and preventive event will take place in Kyiv where all interested individuals can undergo anonymous and free HIV testing, as well as testing for hepatitis B and C.

This was reported by the Department of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration.

The event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Participants will also have the opportunity to receive consultations from specialists regarding infection prevention, the importance of early diagnosis, and modern treatment options.

The Department emphasizes that Kyiv continues to meet its commitments under the international Fast-Track Cities program aimed at combating the HIV epidemic in major cities worldwide. One of the key indicators of the program is the availability of early testing, which allows for timely virus detection and swift initiation of treatment.

The event is organized by the Kyiv City Center for Disease Prevention and AIDS Control with the support of the Department of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration.

The testing location is: 34 Beresteysky Avenue (Morphological Building).
