The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant has reestablished its connection to the repaired power line following a four-day disconnection. This was reported on the official MAAETE page in social media.
"According to the information from MAAETE Director General Rafael Grossi, the Zaporizhzhia NPP is once again connected to the restored 750-kilovolt line named 'Dniprovska' after a four-day emergency shutdown," the announcement states.
It is noted that the Zaporizhzhia NPP now has two external power lines available to ensure critical nuclear safety functions.
As a reminder, on November 14, the Zaporizhzhia NPP lost power from one of its two external transmission lines - 750 kV ZNPP - Dniprovska, which is essential for supplying power to the temporarily occupied plant.
