Recent reports indicate multiple incursions into Japanese territorial waters in the East China Sea, as noted by Bloomberg.
On the morning of November 16, four armed Chinese coast guard ships entered waters controlled by Japan. According to the Japanese coast guard, the vessels navigated around the disputed Senkaku Islands.
This incident occurred amid escalating tensions between Tokyo and Beijing following Japan's comments regarding Taiwan.

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaiichi remarked in a parliamentary session that any unforeseen military situation in Taiwan could be considered an «existential crisis for Japan».
In response, China issued a stern protest to Japan over the Prime Minister's remarks concerning a possible armed conflict regarding Taiwan.
Previously, on May 3, a Chinese coast guard helicopter violated Japanese airspace near the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea.
