As part of the new «Winter Support 2025» program, Ukrposhta will facilitate the delivery of financial aid across Ukraine, including conflict-affected areas.
This initiative, approved by the government, offers a one-time assistance of 1000 hryvnias to all Ukrainians, except for those living abroad or in occupied territories.
For many residents of small towns, Ukrposhta will be a key partner in implementing this program, ensuring fast and accessible delivery of aid, making state support truly available to everyone.
«Our goal is to support people during this challenging winter, especially in frontline areas where the situation is toughest. Thanks to Ukrposhta's extensive network of over 4400 stationary and 1900 mobile branches, we can ensure that assistance reaches all those in need», said Oleksiy Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine.
Last year, many Ukrainians, especially in remote regions, faced difficulties in receiving payments due to insufficient access to banking services, particularly in the absence of electricity.
This issue is particularly pronounced in rural areas and frontline communities, where banking services are limited.
In 2024, Ukrposhta provided assistance to nearly 2 million Ukrainians, with 1.2 million receiving payments in villages and over 500 thousand in cities. Notably, more than 171 thousand received aid in frontline zones.
This year, the program will be similar to last year's, with some updates:
- Pensioners and recipients of social payments who receive their funds through Ukrposhta will automatically receive 1000 hryvnias on the day of their pension or social payment. Therefore, they do not need to do anything but wait for their payment day.
- Citizens who cannot apply through the «Dii» app can submit their requests through Ukrposhta from November 18 to December 24. This can be done at any post office or through the mailman.
People with disabilities can call Ukrposhta's hotline for assistance.
After receiving an SMS about the funds being credited, one can visit the post office or wait for the mailman.
To apply, you need to have:
- a passport or identification document;
- identification code or a note about its absence;
- for children - a birth certificate;
- for guardians - a document confirming their guardianship status.
The funds received can be used for:
- paying utility bills;
- subscribing to newspapers;
- paying for postal services;
- ordering medications;
- buying Ukrainian-made products;
- donating to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrposhta will maintain high service quality during the holiday season, when the volume of parcels increases, ensuring that the «Winter Support 2025» program does not hinder customers from quickly receiving their parcels.
