Ukrainian company TAF Industries has unveiled an innovative electronic warfare system called "Quasar-A", designed to protect armored vehicles and other automobiles. The details of this groundbreaking development were shared in their latest post.

TAF Industries describes the system as an effective countermeasure against kamikaze drones and multi-rotor UAVs. Key features of the "Quasar-A" include:

  • 360° coverage with a range of up to 300 meters;
  • Jamming capabilities for control and video transmission channels;
  • Five channels, each with a power of 100 W;
  • Flexible frequency range selection.

"Quasar-A" creates an active jamming field, blocking control signals and video feeds. Magnetically mounted antennas can be deployed in just 5 minutes. It operates effectively in rain, dust, and cold conditions, boasting an IP66 protection rating and up to 2 hours of autonomy. "Quasar-A" secures the defense line, protects the crew, and saves lives," TAF Industries stated in their video.

Additionally, in September, TAF Industries announced the codification of the FPV drone Kolibri 13-O, which features a fiber-optic communication channel. This drone is an enhanced version of the standard Kolibri model, specifically designed for operation in dense electronic warfare environments. The manufacturer highlights that the new model includes features that make it a "cheat code" on the battlefield.
