Ukrposhta has announced the launch of its own network of parcel machines. According to the company, the first 100 units will be installed within this year.
Currently, only residents of Kyiv, where 70 parcel machines will be set up, and Odesa, where 30 units will be installed, can utilize this new service. The company states that by 2026, they will expand the network across all of Ukraine.
Packages can be collected using a PIN code or through the updated Ukrposhta 2.0 app, which was introduced in September and is already available in the App Store and Google Play.
As per the statement, the Ukrposhta parcel machines were designed with enhanced security standards and are capable of operating autonomously, even without power or network connectivity.
