Train No. 99/100 from Kyiv to Bucharest has successfully embarked on its inaugural journey, carrying 100 passengers aboard. Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba highlighted this event in a Telegram post.
«Despite the continuous assaults on Ukrainian infrastructure by aggressors, Ukrzaliznytsia trains are operating on schedule. Thus, train No. 99/100 Kyiv - Bucharest departed precisely as planned. The first hundred passengers are already on their way», Kuleba stated.
He also mentioned that the new train will run daily through Vinnytsia, Zhmerinka, and Mohyliv-Podilskyi. Border control will take place in Velchynets and Ungheni. The train will arrive at Romania's main station, Gara de Nord.
The departure from Kyiv is scheduled for 06:30, arriving in Bucharest at 06:47 the next day.
In the return direction, the train will leave Gara de Nord at 19:10, arriving back in Kyiv at 19:34 the next day.
In just two days since sales began, over 300 tickets have been purchased for the new international train No. 99/100 Kyiv - Bucharest.
