The Kyiv Metro announced the halt of train services on the “green” line at 11:00 via their Telegram channel.
The incident occurred early in the morning on October 7th, when trains stopped running due to a technical issue. The malfunction at the “Palace of Sports” station was the main reason for the delays.
Consequently, large crowds of passengers gathered at some stations.
There were also reports of crowding on the left bank due to a prolonged air alert, leading to many people being at the Poznyaky metro station.
