International Diplomats Honor Ukraine's Defenders

Diplomats from various countries express their respect for Ukrainian defenders on Defender's Day.

Foreign diplomats and embassies celebrate Defender's Day by honoring the Ukrainian military and remembering the fallen.
This announcement was made by diplomatic missions via social media.
The Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine, Masashi Nakagome, greeted Ukrainian warriors at Maidan Nezalezhnosti while honoring the memory of the fallen.
«Dear defenders, we are grateful to you all. We respect your courage and strength. You are true heroes of Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!», – stated the diplomat.
Colonel of the General Staff and defense attaché of the German Embassy, Torsten Friz, congratulated on Defender's Day on behalf of the German Armed Forces.
«In my meetings with Ukrainian soldiers, I see their confidence and determination to defend Ukraine from the aggressor. This deeply impresses us and motivates us to support you as best as we can», – he noted.
The acting Chargé d'Affaires of the United Kingdom, Charlotte Suren, thanked all Ukrainians resisting Russian aggression.
The Ambassador of Estonia in Ukraine, Anneli Kolk, also expressed respect for Ukrainian defenders.
The Canadian Embassy thanked all defenders of Ukraine for their fight for their land and for freedom and justice in the world, while the Swedish Embassy emphasized its pride in being alongside Ukraine.
