On September 14, Ukraine celebrates Tank Forces Day.

This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal via Telegram.

"Tank units are the reliable armor of Ukraine. The speed, skill, and resilience of Ukrainian tankers are what the enemy fears most," Shmyhal stated.

"Dear soldiers! In the most challenging moments, you show true heroism. You have quickly mastered new equipment provided to Ukraine by our allies. Your experience is an example for the free world," Shmyhal addressed the soldiers.

He thanked Ukrainian tankers for their daily heroism and professionalism.

"Eternal memory to those who gave their all in the battles for Ukraine and its people," Shmyhal added.

We remind you that the President of Ukraine established Tank Forces Day by his decree on September 9, 2023, to be celebrated annually on September 14.
