Poland Responds to Russian Aggression and Airspace Violations

The Polish Armed Forces report aggression from Russia, posing a threat to national security.

The Polish Armed Forces have declared a threat arising from Russia's attack on Ukraine, which poses a serious challenge to their security. They also confirmed the interception of several drones that invaded Polish airspace.

This information was released on the official page of the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces on social media platform X.

«Today's attack by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory resulted in an unprecedented violation of Polish airspace by drones. This is an act of aggression that creates a real danger to our citizens», stated the Polish Armed Forces.

Following the order of the Operational Commander, immediate defensive measures were initiated, according to military sources.

«Polish and allied forces monitored several suspicious objects using radar. Considering those that could pose a threat, the Operational Commander ordered their neutralization. Some of the drones that intruded into our airspace have been shot down. Search efforts and identification of potential crash sites are ongoing», the statement read.
