The International Monetary Fund mission has arrived in the capital of Ukraine for discussions with the government.

Deputy Executive Director of the IMF from Ukraine, Vladyslav Rashkovan, shared this on social media.

"We arrived in Kyiv with the IMF team late at night, and spent some time in a bomb shelter this morning. We are ready to start working. Many meetings are scheduled," Rashkovan noted.

He added that the IMF team will be in the Ukrainian capital for the next week.

"I look forward to meeting in the city over the next 7-8 days," he emphasized.
