The Czech Republic has become the first country in history where citizens raised funds for a helicopter for the Ukrainian military.

The volunteer initiative Darek pro Putina announced the successful transfer of a Black Hawk UH-60 helicopter to Ukraine, for which funds were collected.

Activists shared images of the Black Hawk in Ukraine on social media, thanking over 20,000 caring individuals who supported the initiative.

“Today we witnessed a historic moment as the Czech Republic, along with Slovakia, gifted a helicopter to Ukraine. It is a great honor for us,” stated the citizens of the Czech Republic.
