A new medical facility has been launched in Kyiv, providing support to wounded military personnel and civilians. The «Human Titans» prosthetics center will offer modern solutions in the fields of prosthetics and rehabilitation.

This project was initiated by Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, after his visit to a military hospital in Berlin two years ago. It was then that the idea to establish a similar center in Ukraine arose to assist our defenders.

Thanks to the support from Berlin's mayor, Kai Wegner, the charity organization Life Bridge Ukraine, and ONUR GROUP Ukraine, this important project has come to fruition.

ONUR GROUP Ukraine covered most of the renovation costs for the center, which amounted to over 29 million UAH. The city budget allocated 11.2 million UAH to support its operation.

In June, the equipment purchased with the help of Life Bridge Ukraine began to be put into operation. The center's specialists are already manufacturing prosthetics using a 3D scanner for creating high-precision components.

«During the testing period, 10 veterans from various regions of Ukraine received prosthetics», - noted Vitali Klitschko. «Six technicians trained in Berlin, and about 60 military personnel with amputations received assistance at the Bundeswehr hospital».

The Mayor of Kyiv expressed gratitude to all involved in the realization of this project, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in medical assistance.
