«In Lviv, at Baba Rod, our border guards from the 7th battalion held a symbolic event, raising a living flag of Ukraine. Huge clouds of blue and yellow smoke ascended into the sky, creating a powerful visual symbol of unity and strength,» the report states.

Participants of the event gathered in the shape of the flag, emphasizing that the blue and yellow banner is not just a national symbol but a living history and an indomitable spirit of Ukrainians that unites generations.

The smoke rising into the sky became a symbol of unyielding will.

«Our flag is a symbol of freedom, unity, and resilience. The border guards are the first line of its defense,» noted Colonel Serhiy Shapoval, Deputy Head of the 7th Battalion for moral and psychological support.

The event was attended by the wife of Hero of Ukraine Roman Gakh, who held the line in Luhansk for six hours and gave his life for Ukraine. She ignited blue and yellow smoke flares, symbolically passing the flame of memory from those who have fallen to those who continue the fight.
