The head of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oana-Silvia Tzu, arrived in Kyiv to visit the children’s hospital "Okhmatdyt," which suffered damage from a Russian missile strike last July.

This marks the first visit by Romania’s foreign minister since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.

"This visit is a strong affirmation of our unwavering support for Ukraine. I will be meeting with Ukrainian officials to discuss matters of mutual interest, and then I will continue my trip to Chernivtsi," Tzu stated.

In addition to "Okhmatdyt," she also visited the Superhero School operating at the National Cancer Institute.

"This experience showed me what Ukrainians are fighting for: the welfare of their children, their freedom, and their future. Romania will continue to support Ukraine in its legitimate struggle," Tzu concluded.
