During her visit to Japan, Olena Zelenska met with representatives from the Japanese government and businesses alongside her Foundation team.

Specifically, meetings took place with Katsura Miyazaki, the first Executive Vice President of JICA, Hiroshi Nojima, the president of Nojima Corporation, Hiroshi Mikitani, the founder of Rakuten Group, and the leadership of Daiwa House. The Foundation team also met with representatives of Panasonic Corporation.

During the meeting, the president of Nojima Corporation announced a decision to allocate 200 million yen for the Foundation's projects aimed at assisting children.

Rakuten Group expressed interest in supporting the Foundation's projects, with negotiations ongoing regarding collaboration terms.

Olena Zelenska thanked the companies and JICA for their continuous support for Ukraine.

“Rebuilding Ukraine is not just about infrastructure. It’s primarily about people, especially children who need to grow up in safety, surrounded by care and attention. I hope these meetings will pave the way for meaningful collaboration in areas that are critically important for restoring Ukrainian society by supporting every child,” the First Lady stated.

During the meetings, the Foundation team presented its activities and key projects, including the construction of shelters in schools and kindergartens, the establishment of Superhero Schools in children's hospitals, providing students with gadgets for distance learning, and building homes for large foster families who have lost their homes. A new project was also introduced — youth spaces for psychosocial support for adolescents and young adults called “12–21.”
