During July 2023, Ukraine's demining units successfully cleared 5,136 hectares of land from hazardous explosive items.
This information was shared by the Main Department of Mine Action, Civil Protection, and Environmental Safety on their Telegram channel.
Throughout the month, 4,850.46 hectares of agricultural land, 10.06 kilometers of roads, 0.6 kilometers of power lines, and 30.65 kilometers of railway tracks were cleared.
Experts detected and destroyed 3,546 explosive devices (the total since the onset of the invasion has reached 452,160).
The department noted that demining activities involve teams from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, explosive ordnance disposal units of the National Police, and the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service.
