President Donald Trump of the United States suggested that Ukrainians escaping the war may be granted permission to remain in the US until the end of hostilities.

This was reported by "European Truth" citing a post from a DW journalist on social media.

A journalist asked Trump whether he would allow Ukrainians in the US to stay until the full-scale Russian war concludes, to which he replied affirmatively.

"I think so. A lot of people from Ukraine have come to us, and we are working with them," he said.
