The Kyiv History Museum is hosting a significant exhibition titled «Heart Outward. Blooming Resilience» until August 3rd, which showcases the strength, tenderness, and endurance of Ukrainian women – mothers and wives of fallen defenders. This exhibition was initiated by the public organization of families of fallen heroes, «Heart Outward».
The museum's director, Victoria Mukha, stated: «This exhibition is dedicated to the mothers and wives of fallen heroes who raised, supported, and inspired them on their life journey, and continue to live for them today, preserving and passing on their memory with dignity and love. The vibrant images of blooming flowers symbolize those who were lost – the best of our nation who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. It also represents the personal memories of relatives, where pain and pride coexist. The exhibition includes not just twenty stories of heroes, mothers, and families – it is a narrative of Ukraine, sustained by such wounded hearts filled with love, dignity, and faith in victory. It serves as support and inspiration for all who have lost loved ones in this war, a call to hold on and unite, and a reminder of the price we pay for freedom and independence.»
