The Ukrainian government has introduced a cutting-edge technology for risk management and monitoring in public procurement.
According to the official announcement from the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine, the system offers automated analysis of tender procedures using risk indicators and control parameters.
“This technology allows the early detection of potential violations, preventing problematic contracts from being finalized,” the administration representatives state.
“This innovative approach to procurement is another step towards reducing corruption risks and enhancing the effective use of public resources,” they add.
The system has been implemented in cooperation with the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), aimed at improving oversight of state expenditures.
The Administration of Seaports emphasizes that all procurement processes are conducted through the electronic platform Prozorro, in accordance with current legislation. This new system will serve as an additional layer of control.
