A tragic event has unfolded in Saudi Arabia, as Prince Al-Waleed Bin Khaled Bin Talal Al Saud has passed away after spending two decades in a coma due to a car accident.
This was reported by People.
On Saturday, July 19, the prince's father, Khaled Bin Talal Al Saud, a member of the royal family, announced that his son had died in a medical facility in Saudi Arabia.
At the time of his death, the prince was only 36 years old.
In 2005, 15-year-old Al-Waleed Bin Khaled Bin Talal was involved in a severe car accident in the UK, where he was studying at a military college. He suffered a serious head injury and fell into a coma.
The prince's father refused to consent to unplugging his son from life support and transferred him to a specialized medical facility.
Despite being in a coma for 20 years, the prince never regained consciousness, but his father often shared videos of his son's minor physical reactions, such as lifting his hands and fingers.
