In the Swedish city of Malmö, three explosions took place in residential buildings on Thursday evening and into Friday night.

On Thursday evening, a hand grenade explosion occurred in an apartment building in the Rusenborg district. Currently, there are no arrests made, and no injuries reported.
Later, around 2:40 AM, police received calls regarding a loud explosion in a private home in the Värentorp area, which startled the entire neighborhood. The blast shattered windows in nearby houses, but fortunately, there were no casualties. The house where the explosion occurred was unoccupied.
The incident is being investigated under laws regarding public safety risks and the handling of explosive materials. No arrests have been made concerning the event as of now.
Finally, early in the morning, something exploded in an apartment in the Bunkeflostrand area, damaging the balconies of adjacent apartments. No injuries were reported, and the circumstances of the incident are still being clarified.
It is currently unclear whether the three incidents are connected in any way.
“Explosive” incidents in residential areas of major Swedish cities have become quite common in recent years, often linked to conflicts between rival criminal gangs. In light of these events, a meeting of the National Security Council was convened.
