In Rome, the industrial park "Bila Tserkva" has entered into an agreement with "Gualapak Ukraine", a subsidiary of the Italian company GUALA PACK S.P.A., to build a new industrial building complex covering approximately 10,000 square meters.
This was announced by Dmytro Kysylevskyi, Deputy Head of the Economic Committee of the Verkhovna Rada.
The new facilities in Bila Tserkva will host a factory that previously operated in Sumy and has been partially relocated to rented premises in Ternopil region.
The factory specializes in producing packaging for the food industry and currently employs around 300 people with an average salary of UAH 30,000.
Construction and the installation of engineering networks are expected to take about 12 months. All buildings will be constructed from scratch, taking into account the infrastructure needs of the company.
The investment in this project is estimated to be around 12 million euros.
The industrial park "Bila Tserkva" currently has 19 residents. In April 2025, the Finnish company Peikko Group Corporation announced plans to launch a factory producing concrete connections and composite structures within the industrial park.
