On July 6, an accident occurred in Hungary involving a Ukrainian passenger bus. As a result of the incident, 19 individuals were injured, including 17 minors from Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
«According to the information from the consular department of the Ukrainian embassy in Hungary, on July 6, an accident occurred between the towns of Kunszentmárton and Tiszaeszlár involving a Ukrainian-registered bus. Nineteen people were injured, of whom 17 were minors. At least two minors sustained serious injuries,» the MFA noted.
The ministry added that the injured were taken to local hospitals. The remaining 49 passengers have been provided with temporary accommodation and breakfast.
Ukrainian embassy diplomats immediately went to the accident site.
The MFA stated that the embassy is in constant contact with the relevant authorities in Hungary and the medical facilities where the injured Ukrainians were hospitalized, assuring that the matter is under special control of the institution.
