The servicemen of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are safeguarding the seas, lands, and skies, working tirelessly for the security of Ukraine.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky on his Facebook page in honor of the Day of the Navy.

Together with all defense forces, the Navy has demonstrated that Ukraine is capable of defending its interests.

“There will be no Russian landing in Odesa, “Moskva” has sunk, Snake Island is under Ukrainian control, 28 Russian ships and one submarine have been destroyed or damaged, and the “grain corridor” continues to operate, supporting global food security,” emphasized Zelensky as he congratulated everyone on Navy Day.

The Day of the Naval Forces of Ukraine has been celebrated since 2015 on the first Sunday of July in accordance with the decree of the President of Ukraine dated June 12, 2015.
