A unique veteran shooting hub named «Strilnytsia» has been launched in Lviv.
Victoria Ryasna, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, attended the opening of the «Strilnytsia» hub in Lviv. This is the first space in Ukraine that integrates sports training, veteran rehabilitation, and patriotic education for youth.
The grand opening took place on June 17 at the historic site of the former shooting society in Lviv. The new three-story hub was designed to meet the needs of war veterans, military personnel, students, athletes, and the entire community.
Victoria Ryasna remarked, «This is not just a shooting range; it symbolizes a new philosophy of supporting war veterans, developing military-sport training, and patriotic education. What we inaugurate today is an example of how modern infrastructure for military personnel and society should operate. I want to emphasize the inclusivity of this space — accessibility for all is not just a detail but a principle upon which we must build Ukraine. «Strilnytsia» is not only about weapons; it’s about the strength of spirit, community, and our memory. It’s about the unbreakable.»
What «Strilnytsia» offers:
- A center for patriotic education for youth: first aid, weapon assembly/disassembly, and shooting with laser and pneumatic weapons.
- A state-of-the-art 50-meter shooting range — the only one of its kind in Ukraine.
- A veterans' area: café, library, cardio room, and conference hall.
- The rooftop — a space for archery, yoga, and training sessions.
All zones are fully inclusive — there is an elevator to the roof, equipped restrooms, shower cabins, and a lift for wheelchairs.
«Strilnytsia» has already become a vital part of the veteran ecosystem UNBROKEN and a new pride for Lviv.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports supports the creation of such spaces across the country. «Strilnytsia» is a model for what modern Ukraine can look like, where veterans, youth, and communities work together.
