In honor of World Blood Donor Day, "Ukrposhta" has released a new stamp titled "Chance for Life", celebrating those who donate blood, as well as medical staff and volunteers.

"Together with the DonorUA project, we want to emphasize that you are the ones who keep hearts beating", - stated the company’s press service.

"Ukrposhta" reminded that during the first week of the full-scale invasion, 25,000 new donors joined the DonorUA platform, and since 2022, the base has increased fivefold to 200,000.

"As we enter the third year of the major war, where every drop can change a fate, the need for donors remains high. Blood saves injured soldiers, civilians affected by shelling, mothers in difficulty, cancer patients, and those with severe burns or complex surgeries. Sometimes it is the only hope", - the company added.

The new stamp "Chance for Life" is seen as a symbol of "a drop that becomes a sea, and kindness that turns into a chance".

"This is our gratitude and an important reminder: your drop of blood is someone’s future. If you are willing and healthy, join us! Becoming a donor is easy, and it gives a chance for life", - said the CEO of "Ukrposhta", Ihor Smiliansky.

The stamp features a couple holding a heart and filling it with blood. The artwork was created by Ukrainian artist Liza Markina.

"The shortage of donor blood existed in Ukraine even before the full-scale war, but today this issue is more pressing than ever. Despite all medical advancements, there are still no full substitutes for blood. Only we can share it with those in need", - emphasized co-founder of DonorUA, Iryna Slavinska.

The print run of the new stamp is 150,000 copies, "First Day" envelopes total 20,000 pieces, and the presentation folders amount to 500 units.

"Chance for Life" is available for purchase at "Ukrposhta" branches and on the company’s website.
