The government will fully fund the education of children whose parents defended the country during the 2024/2025 academic year.
This was reported by the press service of the "Diia" platform.
"The first batch of 1,000 certificates has already been sent to this year's bachelor's and master's graduates. Keep an eye out for notifications in "Diia"", – the message states.
If you have received a notification, you need to:
Open "Diia" → check your details in the certificate → confirm your consent via Diia.Signature within 20 days → wait for the results.
Funds from the government will be transferred directly to your educational institution, which will then reimburse you.
Compensation will be available to children (up to 23 years old):
- children of fallen defenders of Ukraine;
- military personnel with disabilities due to war;
- participants in combat operations;
- those missing under special circumstances;
- captured due to armed aggression;
- victims of the Revolution of Dignity.
What you need for compensation:
- ID card or biometric passport in "Diia";
- verified tax number;
- information about the student in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education and the veteran child status of the appropriate category;
- contract-based form of education in the 2024/2025 year.
