The Ukrainian government does not intend to make significant changes to the mobilization exemption criteria in the near future.

This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the "hour of questions to the government" in the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".

"Regarding exemptions. We do not plan to introduce significant changes to the criteria and approaches in the near future. They are clearly outlined, digitized, and extremely transparent," he said.

The Prime Minister noted that the government is closely monitoring the exemption process in collaboration with the military: who is being exempted and in which sectors.

"These criteria satisfy both military needs and economic demands. We do not plan a significant review in the near future," Shmyhal emphasized.

Reminder:

From April 1 only companies that have updated their criticality status according to new requirements will be able to continue the exemption process. Exemptions granted under previous rules will lose validity.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved changes to the exemption procedure for mobilized workers in mobile operators and internet providers.

Additionally, according to the government's decision, the exemption quota for enterprises providing water supply, wastewater management, waste management, and maintaining critical infrastructure has increased from 50% to 75%.
