A new recruitment for short-term courses in technical specialties has begun in Kyiv, funded by the Japanese government under the «Transformational Recovery for People's Safety in Ukraine» project. This was reported by the Department of Education and Science.
«The capital needs skilled workers, which is why our partners are funding educational initiatives that allow anyone interested to gain essential skills, such as an electrician or a plumber, which are in shortage in the job market today. This is especially relevant for those who have been forced to leave their homes and lack knowledge for employment in a new city. The program also includes providing students with learning materials and work clothing,» said the director of the department, Olena Fidanyan.
In particular, the «Kyiv Professional College of Construction and Utilities» invites individuals to learn the trade of «installer of sanitary and technical systems» and «electrical installer». The training duration is 2 months. Contact number: 067-194-71-04.
