The band Ziferblat will represent Ukraine at the international music contest Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland with the song Bird of Pray.

The group triumphed in the National Selection.

Ten participants competed in the final: FIЇNKA, Future Culture, KHAYAT, KRYLATA, MOLODI, Ziferblat, Abiye, DK Energetik, Masha Kondratenko, Vlad Sherif.

The winner was determined by the voting results of the jury (50%) and the audience (50%).

Ziferblat received the highest score among the finalists.

The audience rated the band's performance at 10 points, while the jury gave 9 points.

Last year, Ziferblat participated in the National Selection for Eurovision 2024.

At that time, the group placed second with the song Place I Call Home. The winners were alyona alyona & Jerry Heil with their song Teresa & Maria.

Eurovision 2025: When It Will Be Held

The 69th edition of the Eurovision 2025 song contest will take place in the Swiss city of Basel.

The Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, with semifinals on May 13 and 15.

According to Suspilne, the event will occur at the St. Jakobshalle arena.

A total of 38 countries will participate in the contest.

32 of them will compete in the semifinals.

Up to 20 participants will advance to the final. Additionally, representatives from the Big Five countries (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain), as well as last year's winner - Switzerland, will automatically qualify for the final.

Eurovision 2024: Who Won

Last year, the contest was won by representatives from Switzerland - non-binary singer Nemo with the song The Code.

With this composition, Nemo aimed to draw attention to gender identity and mental health.

In second place was artist Baby Lasagna from Croatia.

Ukraine placed third in Eurovision 2024, represented by the duo alyona alyona & Jerry Heil with the song Teresa & Maria.

This piece was inspired by the strength of Ukrainian women who face numerous challenges during the war.
