A charity event supporting Ukrainian heroes was held at VDNH in Kyiv, featuring participation from the Special Operations Forces.

This event, named in honor of military journalist Major Oleksiy "Recruit" Chubashev, is organized by Run Ukraine alongside his wife, Yulia Chubasheva, and each year it brings together more people who hold the concepts of "honor," "memory," and "strength" in high regard.

"SSO Recruiting" also participated in the event.

As a traditional partner of Run Ukraine's initiatives, "SSO Recruiting" set up an info booth at VDNH's central square to introduce youth to their work.

“It is a great honor for us to be part of the run in honor of 'Recruit,'” said Alina Furman, spokesperson for "SSO Recruiting." “Oleksiy Chubashev accomplished significant work for the Special Operations Forces, popularizing the Q-course—one of the toughest courses training fighters for survival in diverse conditions. Many still associate this course with his name.

It was wonderful to see the youth interested in job vacancies, engaging with recruiters and our military personnel. Today, people were less interested in simulations and more eager for genuine conversations and practical knowledge. We are incredibly inspired, in good spirits, with new contacts and challenges, and we are already preparing for future events.

The SSO location combined information and experience: all interested could learn about service in SSO, see drones used on the frontlines, and even try their hand at being an intelligence operator, feel like a driver of a modern buggy, and neutralize an enemy drone in virtual combat.

Alexander "Titan" Titienko conducted a physical readiness test for SSO service. Participants performed a set number of pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups based on their age and gender. Successful participants received gifts from the well-known military brand Camotec.

The friendly team from "SSO Recruiting" showcased the importance of sports by participating in the run. The guys and girls, many with combat experience, completed the distance with smiles, proudly raising the flag of the Special Operations Forces at the finish line.

We look forward to the next meeting.

The next Run Ukraine event is scheduled for October 11-12 in Kyiv on Trukhaniv Island— the "PrivatBank Kyiv Marathon of Resilience 2025." Prepare now!
