Fraudsters are misusing the name of the State Tax Service and its regional representatives in an attempt to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported on the official website of the State Tax Service (STS).

Chairman Ruslan Kravchenko confirmed that these messages are false.

“I emphasize! This is a fake! The tax service is not involved in this mailing. Its purpose is to deceive entrepreneurs and discredit our service,” Kravchenko stated on his Telegram channel.

The STS has already submitted a complaint to law enforcement regarding these fraudulent actions and urged taxpayers to be cautious.

As reported earlier, on May 28, 2025, the State Tax Service of Ukraine warned about the widespread distribution of fake emails purportedly from its name. The attachments in these emails contained malicious software that activates upon opening the PDF file. This software then grants remote access to the fraudsters.
