This course offers valuable advice in the fields of psychological, medical, legal, and economic support.
In 2025, the public organization 'Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhny' launched and is implementing an online program called 'Wives of Veterans'. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine invites partners and wives of veterans who are missing, prisoners of war, and fallen heroes to participate.
The course will help veterans' wives not only support their loved ones and themselves but also gain important knowledge and skills to become stronger, more confident, and better equipped to handle challenges.
The program is free of charge and covers medical, legal, economic, and psychological aspects. Each lecture is designed based on proven practices of interacting with veterans' wives.
After completing the training, participants may have the opportunity to meet with project experts who will answer additional questions.
The program is created for those who wish to:
- receive practical recommendations and expert advice in the realms of psychological, medical, legal, and economic support;
- gain access to a roadmap for supporting veterans' families;
- formulate a vision and action plan for participating in the socio-political life of the country;
- become part of the 'Advocacy for Veterans' Rights' community;
- establish a support hub for veterans and their families within their organizations/regions.
Special attention will be given to the role of partners and wives in the reintegration of military personnel into civilian life, assisting their economic independence, and active participation in the life of the country.
