On the occasion of Vyshyvanka Day, an original decoration has been made to the famous sculptures dedicated to the founders of Kyiv – Kyi, Shchek, Khoriv, and their sister Lybid, located at Postal Square.
The creator of the composition, Volodymyr Zhuravel, shared photos of the updated figures.

All four bronze figures now proudly display traditional Ukrainian clothing, the main feature being embroidered shirts.
Interestingly, one boy's trousers are adorned with a pixelated pattern that is also present on his shirt.
Little Lybid wears a festive wreath on her head.
Volodymyr Zhuravel also noted that the bronze sculptures will naturally acquire a dark olive hue over time due to weather conditions.
Typically, sculptors use a special substance – patina – to speed up this process.
