The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has finally allowed Kyivstar to gain control over the company "MTPK", which operates the Tabletki.ua service.
This decision was made on January 29, 2026, according to the AMC.
In 2022, Kyivstar acquired a controlling stake in the health platform Helsi and increased its share in Helsi from 69.99% to 97.99% in May 2025.

In early 2025, it became known that Kyivstar was attempting to buy Tabletki.ua. According to AMC data, Kyivstar submitted a request to acquire the online service Tabletki.ua back in November 2024 but was denied by the regulator. In February 2025, Kyivstar submitted a revised application to the AMC for the purchase of "MTPK".

In August 2025, the AMC determined that a merger of the online systems Helsi and Tabletki.ua could lead to market monopolization, as the combined shares could exceed 35%. However, on January 29, 2026, the regulator ultimately approved Kyivstar's acquisition of Tabletki.ua.

Tabletki.ua is a service that allows users to find and reserve medications at pharmacies. Since its founding in 2010, it has grown to 10 million users. The booking feature was added in 2015, which led to a tenfold increase in the business. Currently, 12,000 pharmacies across the country partner with the service, representing about 70% of the market.

According to Forbes Ukraine, the value of Tabletki.ua could range from $30 to $80 million. This wide range is attributed to the business's high profitability—its net profit margin was 89% in 2024. Reports from YouControl indicate that "MTPK" earned 517 million UAH over the first nine months of 2024, an increase of 88% compared to the same period in 2023.

Last week, there were rumors that Kyivstar was planning to acquire a stake in the COMFY electronics retail chain, but according to Scroll Media, that deal will not take place.
