As of November 10, a total of 145,226 families in Ukraine have received compensations amounting to 52.33 billion hryvnias. This information was reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine via Telegram.
For damaged housing, over 116,500 families have received 11.4 billion hryvnias. This compensation type is divided into two categories: payments for minor damages (Category A) and capital repairs (Category B). The average compensation amounts were 70,800 hryvnias and 341,500 hryvnias respectively.
Additionally, nearly 28,000 families have received housing certificates to purchase new homes due to destruction, totaling 40 billion hryvnias. Currently, more than 18,600 families have bought new housing, including over 8,600 families of internally displaced persons.
Payments for reconstruction on private plots are also ongoing. These payments began at the start of this year, with 704 families receiving the first tranche of 850.2 million hryvnias, and 63 families have received the second tranche totaling 81.1 million hryvnias.
"The state compensation program, Recovery, continues to operate actively. For over two years, Ukrainians have been receiving funds for repairing housing damaged by Russian aggression or for purchasing new homes to replace destroyed ones," the ministry noted.
