Ukraine's Agricultural Harvest: July 2025 Update

An overview of the harvest collected by Ukrainian farmers as of July 25, 2025.

As of July 25, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have harvested nearly a third (29%) of the planted areas for grain and leguminous crops, gathering over 10.3 million tons of the new harvest. 

This information was provided by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Ukraine collects first 10 million tons of grain: harvest process insights

“As of July 25, 2025, 3,236 thousand hectares have been harvested in Ukraine, yielding 10,347.2 thousand tons of early grains and legumes. 29% of the total area has been harvested,” the official report states.

Crop Results

Specifically, the collection by crop includes:

  • wheat – 7.08 million tons from an area of 2.17 million hectares;
  • barley – 2.79 million tons from an area of 838.7 thousand hectares;
  • peas – 412.4 thousand tons from an area of 190.9 thousand hectares.

Additionally, farmers have harvested 54.2 thousand tons of other grains from an area of 28.5 thousand hectares.

The leading regions in terms of harvest amounts include Odesa, where over 2.5 million tons have been harvested from 884.5 thousand hectares. Other notable regions are Kirovohrad (1.52 million tons from 368.7 thousand hectares) and Mykolaiv (1.38 million tons from 577.3 thousand hectares).

Regarding rapeseed, as of July 25, 1.04 million tons have been collected from an area of 535 thousand hectares.
