The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announces the allocation of an additional 665 million UAH to support the eRecovery program, as reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development.
This decree will allow the use of funds from the Armed Aggression Consequences Liquidation Fund for compensation for destroyed housing under the program.
“These funds are intended to assist Ukrainians in making minor and major repairs,” - the official statement emphasizes.
With this new funding, it is planned to restore 7,389 residential units affected by armed conflicts.
Through the eRecovery program, compensation for repairs can be obtained as follows:
- Category A – up to 200,000 UAH;
- Category B – from 200,000 to 350,000 UAH for apartments or from 200,000 to 500,000 UAH for houses.
In the 2025 State Budget, 1 billion UAH has been allocated for the implementation of the eRecovery program, with 400 million for Category A repairs and 600 million for Category B.
What is the eRecovery program?
The program also provides compensation for destroyed housing in the form of a housing certificate. Recently, there has been an opportunity to obtain a cash payment for the reconstruction of a private house on one's own land plot.
In March, we reported that Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that 1,500 internally displaced families received compensation for destroyed housing through housing certificates under the eRecovery program.
