In Kyiv, prosecutors have charged two young men, aged 17 and 20, who raised over a million hryvnias through a fake page named «Madyar». This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General on Telegram.
As part of the investigation, juvenile prosecutors from the Svyatoshyn District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv discovered that the young men created a fake page for the commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, known as «Madyar».
«For six months, they collected money «for the military» via TikTok, and the funds received — at least 1 million hryvnias — were spent on their personal needs,» the prosecution noted.
Their actions are classified as fraud committed in conspiracy by a group of individuals using electronic means (Part 4 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
