A scheme involving illicit activities by criminals, including medical professionals, aimed at profiting from conscription-aged men has been uncovered in Kyiv. The police have arrested the perpetrators and filed charges against them.
The offenders offered services to create fake medical documents to avoid conscription. Clients only provided copies of their documents, while the doctors fabricated certificates without conducting proper examinations.
For a fee of $3,500, the organizer provided ready-made document packages, allowing clients to travel abroad as accompanying individuals.
Police conducted searches and seized forged documents, communication devices, cash, and other evidence of criminal activities.
The suspects have been charged with crimes that could result in imprisonment.
