Police from the Desnyansky district documented illegal activities of a resident of Troieshchyna under the guidance of the district prosecutor's office.
The suspect is the director of a company that rents out commercial premises. During the preliminary investigation, law enforcement established that the director decided to «expand» his business operations while renovating a non-residential property owned by him.
To do this, the man unlawfully occupied a land plot of 420 square meters belonging to the Kyiv community, poured a foundation, and erected structures for a building he intended to rent out to other entrepreneurs for profit.
Investigators informed the man of the suspicion under Part 3 of Article 197-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – unlawful occupation of land and unauthorized construction. The penalty for this article includes up to three years of restriction of liberty.
