Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a traffic accident on Saksahanskoho Street.

The incident occurred on July 19, 2025, around 19:25. It has been established that the female driver of a Mercedes lost control and veered onto the sidewalk, injuring a woman sitting on the outdoor terrace of a café. 

The 28-year-old victim was hospitalized with injuries.  

Preliminary reports indicate that the driver was sober. She explained that she was trying to pick up her mobile phone that had fallen on the floor, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle. Additionally, it was found that the woman had never obtained a driver's license. 

Currently, a forensic team, patrol officers, and medical personnel are working at the scene.
